The Hampshire Rugby Football Union (RFU) Volunteer Awards exist to honour the exceptional individuals who dedicate their time and energy to the growth of rugby at the grassroots level. These prestigious awards celebrate the commitment, passion, and perseverance that sustain and strengthen rugby clubs across the county.
This year, Millbrook Rugby Club was proud to submit nominations to recognise the outstanding efforts within our community. We are absolutely delighted to announce that our Club Captains from last season, Jordan Coffin and Alan Day, were honoured with an award — a testament to their incredible work both on and off the pitch.
Winners: Game for All Award
This category recognises those who have driven initiatives to make rugby more inclusive and accessible for all. Jordan and Alan’s commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring everyone has a place in the game has rightly earned them this prestigious accolade.
As Hampshire winners, they will now go forward to the National RFU Volunteer Awards, representing both Millbrook and Hampshire at the highest level of volunteer recognition.
At Millbrook RFC, we remain deeply committed to offering free rugby for all, and this recognition only strengthens our resolve to continue building an inclusive and welcoming rugby community.
